What we perceive and what the camera records, has long been the
accepted forms of work. At one time pictures where never manipulated,
what you saw is what you got. Now there are many ways of improving the
photograph image especially with filters. But techniques move on, and
today we have computer technology, it offers an artistic interpretation
of a new dimension in the world of photography. I am always looking to
give a new feeling to my work. With computer imaging, it enables me to
create an extended vision, beyond what we would normally see, adding
another dimension in a more interesting way.
With this gallery, it brings together my best 35mm images that have
been adjusted to produce panoramic pictures, not by cropping the
photograph, but by being more inventive, using on occasion, two and
sometimes three images, so creating a montage of pictures to produce
one image.
